As recently reported by Crain’s Chicago Business, Advocate Aurora Health has reported more than 613,000 virtual visits provided so far in 2020. AAH CEO, Jim Skogsbergh, says telehealth has become “a genie we will not put back in the bottle”. Pre-COVID-19, the system had expected to complete 25,000 telehealth visits in 2020.
